Lapostolle and Viu Manent, the very best of Colchagua Valley - lunch à la carte at Rayuela Wine & Grill Restaurant

Colchagua was chosen by the renowned U.S. magazine Wine Enthusiast as "Best Wine Region of the World in 2005", the first time in history this was awarded to a wine producing area in South America. This award was in response to the excellent quality of the soil and the microclimate which is perfect for growing grapes like Cabernet Sauvignon and the only place in the world where you can find Carmenere.

Lapostolle is a winery of the highest level, with magnificent architecture and interior design details. It was created exclusively to produce "Clos Apalta" Lapostolle Premium wine. During the visit we will follow in detail how the grapes are processed by gravity until it becomes the icon wine of Casa Lapostolle.

Viu Manent has opened its doors to surprise you with its spectacular wines and the beauty of their grounds. During the tour you will learn about the winemaking process and enjoy a tasting where you'll also learn the basics of wine tasting.

This tour includes lunch at Rayuela Wine & Grill Restaurant. A very cozy place with a panoramic view of the vineyards and the hills of Apalta. The kitchen is headed by Chef Cristian Adrian and offers a simple menu, based on using the grill as a cooking method for meats and fish; combining them freely and using side dishes to suit the taste of the diner.
